'Rosso Mila Beauty Limited v. Bama Stores Limited'

This year, judges of the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Enterprise Court in the Model Courts of Justice 2018 will conclude on a judgement on the fictional case before the Court; in which Rosso Mila Beauty Limited, a Europe-wide, United Kingdom based makeup chain, claims that the new makeup line launched by the Bama Stores Limited, also a United Kingdom based supermarket chain, infringes their trade mark. The claimant asserts that the new makeup line by the Bama Stores Limited is identical or confusingly similar to Rosso Mila Beauty with its logo, name, and strapline.

Within the meaning and boundaries of the ‘intellectual property’  the judges will determine where the rights conferred by registered trade mark ends and what the limits are on effect of a registered trade mark.
