Distinguished Participants,
My name is Rana Elif Taze, and I am a junior at Ankara University Faculty of Law. For the Model Courts of Justice 2026, I truly desire an unforgettable experience for you, just as we shared over the past editions. This year, guided by our motto better together, I believe that our collective spirit and eager teamwork will make this journey even more meaningful.
My Model Courts of Justice experience started with the 12th Edition as I participated as a judge in the International Court of Justice. Following this, I served as an academic trainee for the 2023-2024 academic year and, finally, I proudly served as the Under-Secretary-General responsible for the International Criminal Court for Model Courts of Justice 2025. This year, it is a great honour for me to serve as the Secretary-General of the Model Courts of Justice and dedicatedly carry the responsibility of the ever-increasing quality and prestige enshrined throughout 14 years.
