14th SESSION OF MODEL CJ
Letter From our Secretary General
As the Secretary-General of the Model Courts of Justice, I extend a warm and most honored welcome to all of you to the 14th Edition of the event, on behalf of our highly concentrated and qualified Academic and Organizational Teams. Since its first event in 2012, Model Courts of Justice has been the first and most prestigious moot court conference in Türkiye focusing on the simulation of international and supranational legal proceedings. Our tradition has given rise to many influential notions for lawyers both nationally and internationally and is currently a source of inspiration for countless legal professionals all over the world.
It is indeed a proud opportunity for me to lead a team consisting of unique and highly skilled members who have most impressive sets of academic and organizational experience, diligence, and full dedication. Although from different backgrounds, we, as future advocates of international law, are all united by the prestige and standards of the Model Courts of Justice that were upheld for 14 years. Model Courts of Justice 2026 is cherished by our collective efforts to provide all participants with legal excellency which shall forward our traditions with every session.
As future lawyers, diplomats, and scholars we are aware that we inherited an enshrined institutional history from those who came before us. This year we crowned our efforts by enhanced excellence with our team spirit by standing together every step of the way to leave a living legacy for future generations to the next generations of Model CJ. I sincerely hope that you enjoy the Model Courts of Justice 2026 and have an unforgettable experience just as we shared over the past editions.
Sincerely,
Rana Elif Taze

MCJ has broadened my viewpoint and showed me how important international law is. Participating in this conference provided me with a remarkable amount of network.

To improve your debating skills in English and meet with other prospective lawyers, there is no better opportunity than MCJ.

Model Courts of Justice gives attendants a unique opportunity to improve their legal analysis skills, and serves as a perfect training course for the complexities of professional life, as well as a great tool to hone English skills.

My introduction to international law was through MCJ. Truly, there is no better start! MCJ has equipped me with skills and knowledge that led to my fondest memories in the field, from arguing a case in front of a real English High Court Judge to participating in actual UNEP treaty negotiations as the youngest person in the room. I cannot recommend it enough.
People I started with went from simulating these institutions to working at them, how crazy is that? Every year, MCJ is attended by legends in the making, why not be among them?
